Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced the release of version 4.2.2 of Teigha, its development platform for engineering applications.
Teigha 4.2.2 contains support for reading and visualizing Autodesk® ReCap™ point cloud files (.rcs), which are commonly used to attach point cloud data to .dwg. Also included is full support for visual styles and beta incremental save.
Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced the release of version 4.2 of Teigha, its development platform for engineering applications.
Teigha 4.2 contains geo data support for integrating maps and satellite imagery into .dwg drawing files. Clients can customize this support to work with popular online mapping services, and Teigha provides full rendering support for geo-integrated drawings.
Version 4.2 also introduces new support for visual styles, which provides client applications with the ability to fine-tune the display of edge and shading properties for 3d views.
Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced the production release of Teigha Cloud, its framework for visualizing engineering data on the web.
Teigha Cloud allows engineering drawings to be rendered within any WebGL™-compatible browser. Rendering is in 3D with support for zoom, pan, 3D rotate, render mode, layout selection, and layers. Entity selection and data inquiry are also available.
Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced Teigha Developer Conference 2016, to be held in Prague, Czech Republic on September 12-13, 2016.
The conference will provide a forum for discussing the latest advancements in the Teigha platform, as well as new product announcements. Attendees can network with other Teigha users and industry press, and meet with Teigha development and management teams for personalized consultation and training.
Open Design Alliance (ODA) is inviting visitors to explore its new Teigha website and subscriber portal. The newly designed site provides a user-friendly experience with improved navigation and clear structure, allowing easy access to product information, latest Teigha advancements and other resources.
“We wanted the new website to emphasize Teigha, our flagship product,” commented Neil Peterson, ODA President. “Over the past 10 years, Teigha has grown into a full-featured product line, and our new website reflects this perfectly.”
Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced the production release of Teigha PRC, a 3D PDF component for Teigha. This component can be used to export a .dwg or .dgn file to PRC-based 3D PDF (Portable Document Format).
The accurate and highly compressible PRC file format is optimized to store, load and display 3D data such as geometry, assembly structures and product manufacturing information. PRC files encapsulated within PDF, an open standard, can be viewed universally which means that detailed 3D designs can be widely communicated.
