- **If you own the data** — run the stack on infrastructure you control. Your models stay on storage you own, and no vendor can buy the layer that reads them and change the terms on you.
- **If you build for clients** — one web layer covers whatever format a project brings, on the client's cloud or your own.

### **What you'll see**

Five recorded demos, so nothing waits on files processing. A file goes from raw IFC to an interactive model in a browser tab. You walk a combined building model in first person. Clash detection runs between a structural model and an MEP model. A shared link opens a model with no account. And **a DWG is edited in the browser, then saved back**. Our team lead also names what the WebAssembly SDK cannot do yet, because knowing that up front is worth more than a demo that hides it.

### **The two products**

The session covers two products from the **inWEB™** family, built by the Open Design Alliance (ODA). **CDE SDK** is a self-hostable backend for CAD and BIM collaboration: a REST API, async conversion across DWG, IFC, Revit and Navisworks, and a 3D viewer you host. It indexes BIM properties, so a query like 'every column on level 3 with fire rating F120' returns without loading geometry. **Drawings inWEB™ SDK** runs a WebAssembly core in the browser. Reading a DWG there is the baseline. The point is that a user can edit it and save back to a real DWG that opens in AutoCAD, with no server involved.
