ODA Announces New Branding with Teigha™ Development Platform Version 3.3

The Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced the release of version 3.3 of its Teigha software development platform. In addition to the new Teigha (pronounced tee-ga) brand names throughout the software development platform, this latest release includes performance enhancements, interface changes designed to provide greater flexibility for application developers, maintenance fixes, and a new module which provides rendering support for PDF files referenced from .dwg files.

The Teigha brand name is applied throughout the platform:

  • Teigha for .dwg files, formerly DWGdirect
  • TeighaX for .dwg files, formerly DWGdirectX
  • Teigha.NET for .dwg files, formerly DWGdirect.NET
  • Teigha for .dgn files, formerly DGNdirect
  • Teigha for Architecture, formerly ADTdirect
  • Teigha for Civil, formerly C3Ddirect
  • Teigha Extension, formerly DRX
  • Open Design Specification for .dwg files, formerly OpenDWG Specification
  • Teigha Classic for .dwg files, formerly OpenDWG
  • Teigha File Converter, formerly EveryDWG

ODA President Arnold van der Weide stated, “Releasing the ODA platform with the new brand names brings together the many facets of what the ODA develops and delivers to its members. ODA members use one, two, or many components of the entire Teigha development platform, including third-party integrations, to build their own solutions. With the new Teigha brand name, we will continue to expand and deliver high performing CAD and technical graphics technology to our members.”

Version 3.3 is available immediately at www.opendesign.com for download by ODA members world-wide.
