Education Members

The ODA also strives to stimulate and sponsor research by making its software libraries available free of charge to educational institutes and students researching CAD/CAM and engineering software. In some cases the ODA Board of Directors will grant access to the source code to allow research and development of specific algorithms used in engineering software.

Students and education institutes are encouraged to submit their finished projects to the ODA Educational Showcase. Each year the ODA will award a prize for the best project submitted.

Application

Review the ODA Membership Rules and Policies. Download the Education Membership Agreement and Education Attachments, complete both documents, sign them, and send all pages to the ODA via e-mail, fax or postal mail. After your agreement is approved, the ODA will send you login details for the ODA Member Area.
