ODA Legacy Application Recovery

Legacy or obsolete ARX custom object applications can be made up-to-date by converting to current DRX custom object applications. If source code for a custom object application is lost or not maintained over time, users may have to discontinue use of the application or lose the ability to work with the latest DWG file format. The ODA’s Legacy Application Recovery service allows developers and end-users of legacy custom object applications to take advantage of the latest features found in more recent DWG file formats while also continuing to use their applications.

Given the legacy application and a set of DWG files containing legacy custom objects, the ODA provides DRX source code to generate the DRX custom object application that is usable within any DWGdirect host application. Developers can then support more recent DWG file formats and further develop and enhance their custom object implementations.
